How to Style the Discarded x Chillie London Collection*:
Vintage Rebellion Meets Urban Edge

LOOK 1: Vintage Rebellion Meets Urban Edge

Base: White or black boxers

Start with the simplicity of the boxer short, either colourway works and build from there. Use the collection’s red and black as anchor points: add a vintage red leather jacket for a punch of energy and ground it with worn-in black biker boots. This is a high-low mix that feels intentionally unfinished, popping with contrast. It’s off-duty model meets east London punk - cool without trying but unmistakably styled.

Hartley Tip: “The red tones energise the look - it’s a nod to something rebellious. The boxers give it that unexpected twist that keeps it street and not costume.”

LOOK 2: Boxer Chic with a Hint of Rebellion

Base: White or black boxers and t-shirt

Reimagine shirting by taking the oversized tee and either tucking it into the waistband or tying it at the waist - front or back depending on your mood. Then, elevate with a silk scarf styled as a bandana around the head. Go red or black to echo the capsule’s colour story. The overall effect is relaxed yet razor-sharp: part Parisian skater, part ‘90s beach movie revival. Reverse the tee to refresh the look.

Hartley Tip: “It’s about freedom. The scarf makes it playful, almost cinematic. You’re creating movement and story with the same few pieces.”

LOOK 3: Androgyny with a Dandy Lean

Base: White or black boxers

Now take the scarf and flip the narrative. Tie it around the neck like a loose cravat. Add white socks and chunky loafers or a pair of lace-up vintage sneakers to steer the look into dandy-meets-sport. The boxers feel tailored, the tee feels intentional, and the whole thing becomes a play on a uniform.

Hartley Tip: “This is genderless styling at its best. You’re riffing on prep, on polish, but with softness and swagger. It’s endlessly remixable.”

In a world where everything old becomes new again, the Discarded capsule offers a blank canvas - two effortlessly cool essentials: the classic tee and tailored boxer short, in crisp black and white. Designed with versatility at its core, this collection encourages playful styling and self-expression. The t-shirt is fully reversible, offering more ways to wear, twist, and reinterpret - it’s a subtle detail that expands the styling possibilities and invites multiple outfit changes with minimal effort. These are foundation pieces and are endlessly reworkable.
