WE RAISED £6k FOR LONDON FOOD BANKS

Wow!! What a way to end the year raising £6000 for The Felix Project a charity that supports food banks across London. Over the summer we ran a series of events with the sustainable drinks brand Discarded Spirits an Adults Only Stitch & Bitch workshop and our capsule collection of vintage T-shirts and boxers fronted by our muse Pixie Geldof. 100% of takings were donated. We are still raising boxers are still available and head to the link in our bio to donate what you can!! Our total raised means 16.200 meals will be delivered this winter across London. Winter is a challenge for so many. Rising food and heating bills leave families once again facing the agonising choice between heating and eating. This year, in our survey of working families, we found that 41% of parents are skipping meals or not buying food for themselves to so their children can eat. 1 in 5 parents say they do this regularly. What makes this worse is that it is happening against a backdrop of 140,000 tonnes of edible food going to waste in London over the winter months. We need your help to rescue as much food as possible and deliver it to those who are most vulnerable in our communities.

The Big Give is the UK’s biggest matched funding opportunity and, during the campaign from 2 - 9 December, every gift made to The Felix Project via The Big Give’s website will be doubled.

We have a target of providing around 500,000 meals for children in London, and we need your help! Every £1 donated allows us to deliver enough food for over 3 meals.
